Carol Li
Carol Li is from Naperville, Illinois. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2013, where she majored in Political Science and Sociology. Before law school, she worked at Seyfarth Shaw as a legal technologist, designing and automating solutions to optimize the delivery of legal services. Carol spent her 1L summer serving as a judicial extern for Judge Thomas M. Durkin of the Northern District of Illinois, and her 2L summer as a summer associate at Jones Day in Chicago. After graduation, Carol will clerk for Judge Kenneth Ripple of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In addition to Law Review, Carol is an oralist on the ABA Team of the Notre Dame Moot Court Board, a Research Assistant for Professor Veronica Root Martinez, and an Admissions Ambassador for the law school. In her free time, Carol coaches the Notre Dame Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team.
