Shane Coughlin

Shane Coughlin is from Hudson, New Hampshire. He graduated summa cum laude from Saint Michael’s College in 2020, majoring in Political Science and Philosophy. Shane served on Saint Michael’s student government executive board and was an elected member of his hometown’s Ethics Committee from 2019-2020. During his 1L summer, Shane served as a judicial intern to Judge Joseph N. Laplante of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. This past summer, Shane was a summer associate at Jones Day in Boston. Shane is also an oralist for the Moot Court Board’s Seventh Circuit Team and is part of the First Generation Professionals organization. In his free time, Shane enjoys playing tennis, exploring trails, and visiting art museums. After graduation, Shane will clerk for Judge Lance E. Walker of the United States District Court for the District of Maine.
