Marianne Bautista

Marianne grew up in Seattle, Washington, before attending high school at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. She graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Peace Studies, minoring in French and Political Science.

During her 1L summer, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Christopher M. Alston at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington. For her 2L summer, she will be working at Kirkland & Ellis with the Restructuring practice group in Chicago.

In her free time, she enjoys erging, listening to new wave music, trying new restaurants, and belting Broadway musicals.
