Katelyn Alexander

Katie grew up in Smithville, Missouri. She graduated summa cum laude from Truman State University with a B.S in Political Science. Katie worked as a research assistant for Professor O. Carter Snead during her 1L summer and spent her 2L summer at Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, D.C. Katie currently works part-time for Nussbaum Gleason, one of the country’s leading religious liberty firms. In Spring 2024, she will extern for Judge Neomi Rao on the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and Judge Trevor McFadden on the District Court for the District of Columbia. Following graduation, Katie will clerk for Judge Eric E. Murphy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Her dream job is to serve as general counsel for a diocese of the Catholic Church. Katie is looking forward to her wedding this year to Joseph Graziano, a recent Notre Dame Law graduate and former member of the Law Review.
