Joseph Brownsberger
Joseph Brownsberger grew up near Kansas City, Missouri, and is currently pursuing a JD as well as a philosophy PhD at Notre Dame. He graduated from Yale University with a degree in Physics and Philosophy, writing his thesis on Elizabeth Anscombe’s account of intentional action. While at Yale, he chaired the Federalist Party of the Yale Political Union and served as president of the Thomistic Institute undergraduate chapter. After graduation, Joseph worked in the legal department of the Knights of Columbus in New Haven, Connecticut, and his 1L summer was spent as a research assistant for Professor Nicole Garnett at Notre Dame. In his free time, Joseph enjoys bonfires, woodworking, and bluegrass music.
