Steven Tu
Steven was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and graduated from the University of Washington in 2022 with a B.S. in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering and a B.A. in Philosophy. Before law school, Steven served for six years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and worked as an EMT and restaurant server in Seattle. At Notre Dame, he is a member of the Christian Legal Society and serves as an assistant rector in Keenan Hall. He has also worked as a teaching assistant for Contracts and as a research assistant for Professors Nicole Garnett and Sadie Blanchard. Steven spent his 1L summer in Chicago as a summer associate with Katten Muchin Rosenman and his 2L summer with the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins. After graduation, he will clerk first for the Honorable Steven J. Menashi on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, then for the Honorable Mary Kay Vyskocil on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. In his free time, he enjoys playing music and spending time with friends.
