Simon Brake

Simon Brake grew up in the Washington, D.C., area. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in the Program of Liberal Studies and theology, and he earned a master’s degree in theology at Boston College. Before law school, he taught high school in Potomac, Maryland. He spent his 1L summer as a judicial intern for Judge Trevor N. McFadden on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. He will return to D.C. his 2L summer as a summer associate at Gibson Dunn. After graduation, he will clerk for Judge Stephanos Bibas of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He enjoys learning languages, singing in choirs, and making ice cream with his wife, Stephanie.
