Thomas M. Filip
Thomas Filip is from Winnetka, Illinois. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Prior to law school, he was a fellow at the DeNicola Center for Ethics and Culture under Professor O. Carter Snead and then worked for United States Senator Todd Young in his Washington D.C. office. Thomas spent his 1L summer as an intern for the Honorable Amy St. Eve of the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. During his 2L summer, he will work as a summer associate at Sidley Austin in Chicago. Following his graduation in 2027, he will serve as a clerk for the Honorable Thomas L. Kirsch II on the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In his free time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife, following Notre Dame Football, cooking, and golf.
