Will Vickery
Will Vickery is from Tyler, Texas. He graduated from the Liberal Arts Honors program at the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in philosophy and Spanish. Before law school, he worked as a speechwriter in the U.S. Senate. During his 1L summer, Will served as a judicial intern for Judge Sean Jordan on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He spent his 2L summer as a summer associate in the Houston office of Gibson Dunn. After law school, he will clerk for Judge Kurt Engelhardt on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He is also a brief writer on the Moot Court Board’s Showcase Team. In his free time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, learning new barbecue techniques, playing golf, and collecting first editions of old books.
