Shannon Lewry is from Birmingham, MI. She received her B.A. from Notre Dame in 2014 in the Program of Liberal Studies and Spanish. Before returning to Notre Dame for her J.D., she worked as a paralegal for a small immigration law firm in New York. Within the law school, Shannon is also a member of the Moot Court Board and serves on the Honor Council. She spent her 1L summer interning for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland of the Eastern District of Michigan and the Honorable Patrick M. Meter at the Michigan Court of Appeals. Shannon is happiest on the shores of Lake Michigan, delving into immigration and border issues, and falling ever more in love with the great city of Detroit.
