Phenia Hovsepyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and lived in Moscow, Russia as a child, before immigrating to Los Angeles, CA with her parents. She completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism, where she worked as a writer and editorial assistant at the USC School of Cinematic Arts’ Office of Public Relations. Phenia spent time traveling and writing in Western Europe, as well as working as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm in Los Angeles, before Notre Dame. At Notre Dame Law School, Phenia is President of the First Generation Professionals Organization, and works as a teaching assistant for Contracts and Constitutional Law. She spent her 1L summer as a summer associate at Miller Johnson, in Grand Rapids, MI, and will be working as 2L summer associate at O’Melveny & Myers’ Los Angeles office. Phenia loves to cook and is passionate about the arts.
