Notre Dame Law Review

Michael Kubik is from Crystal Lake, Illinois. He graduated with honors from University of Michigan in 2016 where he majored in Philosophy. Michael spent the summer after his 1L year as an extern for the Honorable William Gomolinski of the Circuit Court of Cook County. During his 2L Spring Semester, Michael externed at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Chicago. Most recently, during his 2L summer, Michael worked as a summer associate at Irwin IP, an intellectual property litigation firm in Chicago. After graduation, Michael will serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Margaret Ryan on the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C. In addition to Law Review, Michael is an oralist on the Moot Court Board’s Seventh Circuit Team. In his free time, he is an avid blues and hard rock guitarist.
