Melinda Holmes

Melinda Holmes is from Mattoon, Illinois. She graduated in 2017 from the University of Illinois where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science. During her 1L summer, Melinda served as a judicial extern for Judge Michael J. Reagan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. Melinda spent her 2L summer at the Indiana Office of the Attorney General as a law clerk for the Solicitor General. Within the law school, Melinda serves as a research assistant to Judge Kenneth F. Ripple. After graduation, Melinda will clerk for Judge Michael S. Kanne of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
