Daniela Peinado was born and raised in San Diego, California, but her family is from La Paz, Bolivia. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2013, where she majored in Political Science, minored in Philosophy, and joined Alpha Phi. She received her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego and worked as a litigation paralegal until she came to Notre Dame Law School. Her 1L summer, she continued with litigation as a Summer Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP back in San Diego. She is an Oralist on the Notre Dame Moot Court Board and an Assistant Rector in Lyons Hall. She enjoys doing bikram yoga, playing poker, listening to TED Talks, and being a member of Shadow Mountain Community Church.
