Carol Li is from Naperville, Illinois. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2013, where she majored in Political Science and Sociology. Before law school, she worked at Seyfarth Shaw as a legal technologist, designing and automating solutions to optimize the delivery of legal services. Carol spent her 1L summer serving as an extern for the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin of the Northern District of Illinois and researching for Professor Veronica Root. In addition to Law Review, Carol is an oralist on the Notre Dame Moot Court Board, serves as an Admissions Ambassador, and is a part of Impowerus, a start-up connecting juvenile immigrants to pro bono attorneys.
