Brandon Winchel

Brandon Winchel grew up in Orange County, California. In 2017, he earned his B.A. in History & Political Thought from Concordia University Irvine, where he graduated summa cum laude. During his 1L summer, he served as a law clerk for Senator Josh Hawley on the Senate Judiciary Committee. For his 2L summer, he served as an extern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. After graduation, Brandon will clerk for Judge Michael B. Brennan on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Brandon is also an oralist on the Notre Dame Moot Court Board. In his spare time, he enjoys fantasy football, strategic board games, and playing the piano.
