Susan Carlson
Susan Carlson is from Chicago, Illinois. She graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College, where she majored in Art History and concentrated in Cinema & Media Studies. She earned a master’s degree in Modern Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies at Columbia University and worked as a museum curator for several years. At Notre Dame Law School, Susan founded the Art, Cultural Heritage, and Museum Law Society and served as its President. During her 1L summer and 2L year, she worked as a research assistant for Professor Lloyd Hitoshi Mayer. She spent her 2L summer as summer associate at Mayer Brown’s Chicago office, where she will return after graduation. In her free time, Susan enjoys visiting museums and exploring state and local parks.
