Sarah Karchunas
Sarah Karchunas is from St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 with a degree in political science and theology. Before beginning law school, she received her M.A. in Theology through the University of Notre Dame’s Echo Program while working full-time at a Catholic parish in Houston. Sarah spent her 1L summer interning at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington’s Hogar Immigrant Services. She spent her 2L summer at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Office of General Counsel (in Appellate Litigation Services) in Washington, D.C. Sarah is also a brief writer on the Notre Dame Moot Court’s Showcase Team. In her free time, Sarah enjoys being outdoors, planning trips to new places, and adding to her lengthy list of favorite places to eat in D.C. After graduation, Sarah will serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Colm Connolly of the District of Delaware.
