Phenia Hovsepyan
Phenia Hovsepyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia and immigrated to Los Angeles, CA with her parents during elementary school. She completed her undergraduate coursework at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism, where she worked as a writer and editorial assistant at the USC School of Cinematic Arts’ Office of Public Relations. Phenia spent time traveling and writing in Western Europe, as well as working as a legal assistant at a boutique law firm in Los Angeles, before coming to Notre Dame. At Notre Dame Law School, Phenia is President Emeritus of the First Generation Professionals Organization, and works as a teaching assistant for Contracts and Constitutional Law. She is also the recipient of the William Kirby Award for Excellence in Legal Writing. Phenia spent her 1L summer as a summer associate at Miller Johnson, in Grand Rapids, MI, and her 2L summer in Los Angeles as a summer associate at O’Melveny & Myers. Upon graduation, Phenia will be working as a litigation associate in the Downtown Los Angeles office of O’Melveny & Myers. Phenia loves to cook and is passionate about the arts.
