Marilyn Mancusi
Mary is from Crete, Illinois. She obtained an associate’s degree from Fox College in 2016 and finished her undergraduate studies in 2019 at Governors State University with a major in Communications. Before law school, she worked as a legal secretary for four years in Baker & McKenzie’s Chicago office. Mary spent her 1L summer as a summer associate in Miller Johnson’s Grand Rapids office and her 2L summer as a summer associate in Saul Ewing’s Chicago office. After graduation, she will clerk for Judge John F. Kness in the Northern District of Illinois. In addition to Law Review, Mary is Vice President of the law school’s Student Bar Association. Outside of law school, Mary enjoys a good romance novel, long walks outside, baking, and cooking with way more garlic than the recipe calls for.
