Ian McKay

Ian McKay is from Holland, Michigan and graduated magna cum laude from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2013 with a Political Science degree. Since graduating from college, Ian has taught English in South Korea, cycled five thousand miles from San Diego, California to Bar Harbor, Maine, and, most recently, worked as the head of Strategic Communications for Liberty in North Korea, an organization that rescues North Korean refugees who are fleeing the regime. During his 1L summer, Ian worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Marah McLeod. He is also a Brief Writer for Notre Dame’s Moot Court team, a member of the Exoneration Justice Clinic, and an Assistant Rector in Dillon Hall. When he isn’t studying law, you can find Ian taking film photographs, reading Hemingway, or surfing on Lake Michigan.
