Brent Murphy
Brent Murphy is from Biloxi, Mississippi. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015, where he majored in political science and minored in theology. While an undergraduate at Notre Dame, Brent was a member of the Men’s Rowing Team and served on the Student Government Executive Cabinet. For his 1L summer, Brent served as a judicial intern to Judge Thomas F. Hogan at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and researched constitutional law and statutory interpretation as a research assistant to Professor Amy Coney Barrett. For his 2L summer, Brent worked as a summer associate at Sidley Austin in Washington, D.C. After graduation Brent will clerk for Judge Paul J. Kelly Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
