Alexandra Graves
Alexandra is originally from Dallas, Texas and attended Louisiana State University (Ogden Honors College) where she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English. At LSU, she was president of her sorority, Delta Gamma, and was a member of several honors societies. Prior to attending Law School, she worked as a teacher for six years at a low-income, public high school in Dallas, Texas. Taking some time off between teaching and Law School, Alexandra backpacked through Central and South America, eventually opening a restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.
In addition to Law Review, Alexandra is Vice President of the Native American Law Students Association and serves as a research assistant for Professor Emily Bremer. She spent her 1L summer with the United States Attorney’s Office in Baltimore, Maryland and spent her 2L summer as a summer associate with Miles & Stockbridge in Baltimore. Upon graduation, Alexandra will be clerking for Judge Kathryn Grill Graeff on the Appellate Court of Maryland. Her hobbies include international travel, taking walks with her rescue dog, Margot, and cheering on the LSU Tigers and Notre Dame Irish.
