Emmanuel Yirdaw grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada as a high school student. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Philosophy in 2021. Emmanuel spent his 1L summer working for Professor David Waddilove as a research assistant, and he will work at Mayer Brown’s Chicago office his 2L summer. In his free time, he likes to read, cook, run, practice jiu jitsu, and talk to his awesome law school friends; he is also a steak and whiskey enthusiast.
