Margarete Tompkins is from Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2021 where she earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics. She spent her 1L summer as a judicial intern with the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. Margarete spent her 2L summer at Latham & Watkins LLP in Chicago, IL. In her free time, she enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, yoga, and watching University of Kentucky basketball.
